In Which I Admit Cluelessness

Since other people are 'fessing up, I'll do so as well: I had no idea the very talented Joe Hill was Stephen King's son until it came out semi-officially.

In fact, I'll go further: I'm usually so far out of the short-fiction loop that I bet I'd barely have heard of Hill if I weren't a World Fantasy judge this year. (Since I'm pretty sure I hadn't heard of him before I was tapped as a judge.)

So there: the rest of you either don't have to feel bad (if you didn't know, either) or can feel smugly superior to me (if you did).
